How BookWit Works
I. Selecting the books.
Which books should you sell online? Based upon the statistical analysis
of our sales over the past years, we have generated a list of book categories
that generally sell for a higher dollar value. This list can help you identify
the best books for online sales.
II. Inputting the books on the BookWit system.
You don't need an account anywhere other than BookWit. Type in the ISBN (or description),
and confirm that the book on your screen matches the one in your hand.
Adjust the suggested price (in most cases not necessary), check off a
few boxes for the detailed description, and move on to the next!
III. Packaging and shipping with care.
The last step in the BookWit service is shipping. You will print your own
packing slips directly from the BookWit web interface. Each packing slip is
complete with the location of the sold book (as defined by you), the title,
sku, price and even a mailing label with the customer's address.
You can either deliver your packages
to your local post office or have your mailman pick up the packages at the
same time he delivers your mail at no cost to you.
IV. Earning the profits you deserve.
Each month, Woody's Books will send you a check along with a report listing
every book you sold, the price of each book sold, the average price per book
sold and a breakdown of each party's cut (your organization, Amazon/ABE/Alibris, and
Woody's Books).
